Services Available

I have had many questions about services that I offer for the "Live Well- Spend Less" sessions. I've had interest in "personal shopper consultations", "One-on-one consultations" and many others. I have decided to offer a handful of more focused "one-on-one" options to help you with your "saving strategy" for your home. So, here's a list of the services:
Personal Shopper Consultation
Realizing that it is difficult to grasp the entire scope of coupon shopping, register rewards, stacking coupons, cutting coupons and match-ups; I am going to offer a more personal option. This will be a one on one list making, coupon match-up and shopping time between myself and you. I will shop with you and help you learn how to get the best deals. For more information, just email me.
Price: $50

Several session attendees have ask if I would be willing to make their detergent for them. And the answer is yes!

Liquid Detergent

Recipe for Homemade Dishwasher Detergent

Well, I'm ready to share my first money-saving
recipe used in the Fowler house. Barry and I
decided we were going to make up some of these recipes this
weekend and try them out. This was our first experiment,
and it turned out really well.

We've run several loads in the dishwasher thus far and
every dish has come out spotless. So here's the recipe.
One source says the price comparison between the average
national brand cost and the homemade is about .14-.17 cents versus .05 cents for the homemade. This is considering that all
ingredients were bought at full retail price.
So enough of that, here's the recipe:

1/2 cup borax             1/2 cup washing soda
1/4 cup citric acid       1/4 cup kosher salt
          use 1 Tablespoon per load.

Yes, it's that easy. Leave me a comment if you try it and
let me know what you think.

Savings tips to help you to Thrive, not just Survive!

Welcome to Living Well- Spending less.  A little over a year ago my husband and I set out on a journey to see how much money we could save.  I worked full time until my second son was born, and it was then that we decided that I should stay home with our boys and in doing so, figure out how to make our one income go farther than ever before. We had no idea how involved this process would become, but at the same time we have discovered how much money we were wasting.
The inspiration for this blog began with a few close friends.  When I shared with them how I was saving money on groceries, house hold items, and even on my laundry, some of them asked me to share this information at their home at a Money Savings Party.  I did, and was met with so many questions and a great deal of interest.  Another person in my church asked me to meet in their home to have a party for them to share some secret money saving ideas.  Being urged by many other people in my church and so forth I decided it might be time to make this information available on a broader scale.

So stay tuned for updates to my blog as I will be posting new information on a regular basis.
